Joseph R. Salas Martinez Cuban artist and designer born in 1949; he studied typography and graphic design from 1972 at the San Alejandro Academy in Havana and participated in the design course of Professor German Sittauer.
In 1973, he began working as a graphic designer and participated in the III Juvénile Hall of Art; three years later, in 1976, he joined the Hermanos Saiz Association. In 1981, he founded the group “Temps libre” with four other designers. In 1992, he joined the Union of Cuban Writers and Artists (UNEAC) and began working as an independent artist. In 1997, he joined the “Paysage du projet.”
