Small 10 g fine gold bars as cast bars are a real rarity, as in this size almost only minted gold bars are offered.

The cast bars feature a classic square cast-bar design. Cast gold bars have the advantage over struck bars that the surface is more resistant to scratches. A gold bar produced by casting can be picked up without worry to feel the high specific gravity of 99.99% pure gold in the hand, without fear of damaging the bar or affecting it with fingerprints. Cast bars have, due to the manufacturing process, rounded edges and small solidification lines. This makes every Au bar a unique piece.

On the top side the small 10 g bars bear the Au Recycling Gold logo, on the bottom side the ESG logo with all the markings required for investment gold (10 g, Gold, 999.9), as well as the Melter Assayer stamp of the LBMA-certified German bar producer.
