Michiel Folkers's 112-2-5 (ORIGINAL) is a unique, hand-signed acrylic print on beige museum paper, 70 by 50 cm, dated 2026, depicting nature in deep blue ink on beige, Edition UNIEK numbered 112-2-5 as the second of five original prints.
Description from the seller
For this artwork only second-hand teddy bears were used, sourced from flea markets or rescued from the trash and thus immortalized. The work is sold worldwide to art collectors and galleries, but the bear also regularly appears on the street in various forms. (See photos).
The original teddy bear is dipped in (dark) marine blue ink. Thereafter he is printed in full on museum paper.
Technique: Deep dark blue on beige acid-free paper

Michiel Folkers, better known as Gieler (1982), began in the late nineties as a graffiti artist in Amsterdam. He now works in his studio, but the rawness of the street remains visible in his art. His work travels the world and is shown in galleries from Zurich to New York. Especially in the United States his work has become extremely popular in recent years and it hangs on the walls of several celebrities.
