I am Ana Sanchez, Spanish (from Andalusia), born in 1987

Since I was little, art has been my mode of expression and although I studied Business Administration and always had office work, the pandemic made me rethink my future and happiness. That’s why I decided to dedicate myself to art, which is what I truly passionate about.

My art seeks to celebrate the identity and diversity of women around the world, highlighting the depth of their gazes, the beauty of wrinkles, the different skin types, cultures, styles—in short, female empowerment.

I work with oil on canvas, incorporating relief textures using fabrics, necklaces and earrings, creating pieces full of color and strength that offer the audience an original and unique visual experience.

The work is titled Mujer Soberana and represents the matriarchs of the family. The wrinkles show wisdom and experience, the smile warmth and understanding. They are always there for us and deserve our respect and admiration.
