Antique six-arm brass ceiling chandelier in warm gold-bronze, dating to 1930–1940, Luis XV Rococo style, 56 cm diameter and 48 cm height, in good used condition and in working order.
Description from the seller
This ceiling lamp is a classic Louis XV-inspired piece, crafted in warm bronze that enhances its aristocratic air. It features six sinuous arms that spread from a central ornate shaft, with those elegant and somewhat theatrical curves that characterize French Rococo. Each arm ends in a stylized candle holder, designed to imitate antique candles with their elongated shapes and details that evoke melted wax.
The central body shows reliefs and scrolls that add depth and a handmade touch, as if every element had been shaped with patience. Although one of the bulb holders appears without its decorative cover, exposing the socket and wiring, the whole maintains its majestic presence, typical of a piece meant to preside over a living room or dining room with historical character.
It is a lamp that combines ornamentation and balance, and conveys that mix of luxury and delicacy so typical of the Louis XV style.
Tracked shipping and careful packaging.
