Rated Excellent on Trustpilot.
XTC, a French artist, presents the sculpture titled Mc Caviar Tiffany (2026), hand-signed, edition 11/15, constructed from wood, glass and plastic with a glass dome as an integral part of the work, measuring 25 x 18 x 18 cm, origin France, in excellent condition and supplied with a COA.
Description from the seller
Mc Caviar x Tiffany cone with a mother-of-pearl spoon by XTC.
A reimagining of a McDonald’s cone, the crossing of luxury and mass consumption.
This is not a cardboard McDonald’s cone; everything was created from plastics and painted by XTC except the genuine mother-of-pearl spoon.
The glass cloche is an integral part of the artwork.
Signed and numbered below out of 15, Certificate of Authenticity (COA) provided.
The edition shown in the photo is not necessarily the one that will be shipped.
Careful, tracked shipping.
Born in 1978 in the heart of France, XTC has shaped his artistic universe through an interest in Design, Pop Art, and more recently Street Art. This visual exploration has evolved into a passion that had to come to fruition.
XTC defines himself as a self-taught visual artist, aligning with the Pop Art movement, through the détournement (reappropriation) of contemporary consumer goods.
His creativity expresses itself through bold staging of icons of popular consumption (like McDonald’s, Malabar, Chupa), pitting them against the world of luxury (including Chanel, Hermès, Veuve Clicquot champagne, and caviar) and Street Art, further blurring the already thin boundaries between these worlds.
He expresses his art through sculpture, blending painting with all kinds of resins, plastics, and sometimes mineral materials.
He draws inspiration, among others, from Banksy, Keith Haring, Orlinski, Andy Warhol, Obey, and advertising and addictions in general.
All possible flaws or imperfections are an integral part of the work.
