Description from the seller
Original work by the French artist Dam Domido, whose international career and presence in galleries and private collections place her within the contemporary European abstraction panorama today.
Titled “Graf 2376” (2023), this large-format piece is built from a visual language that fuses lyrical abstraction and urban aesthetics. The composition is articulated through structural lines that evoke architectural planes or contemporary cartographies, onto which painterly gestures charged with energy burst.
The contrast between the zones of tension —marked by deep blacks— and the explosions of color, especially in orange and blue tones, creates a balance between order and spontaneity. This duality is characteristic of Domido’s work, whose oeuvre revolves around the search for light, both in a technical and emotional sense.
The surface reveals multiple layers, transparencies and overlays, adding depth and a sense of a constant process. Far from being a static image, the work is perceived as a space under construction, open to the viewer’s interpretation.
The work is shipped rolled in a rigid tube, protected for transport, and ready to be mounted on a frame or framed according to the collector’s preference.
