This piece in the format 80 × 80 × 4.5 cm is created on a broad, high-quality canvas and moves between painting and sculpture.
In the light, the surface reveals a clear presence. Depending on the incidence of light and the viewing angle, the texture and depth change, individual layers become more prominent. The work appears spatial and physical – perception emerges while walking, standing, and lingering.
Frequency SAP GREEN — Sculpture of Light, Structure & Presence
Frequency SAP GREEN is inspired by sound and frequency. From my work as a pianist I transfer rhythm, pause, and repetition into a visual structure. The composition follows a reduced order. Repetitions create tensions comparable to held notes, while subtle color shifts mark transitions.
Werkdetails:
Title: Frequency SAP GREEN
Size: 80 × 80 cm × 4.5 cm
Technique & Materials: Acrylic paint and Heavy-Gel texture paste on canvas, built up layer by layer with different trowels. The pigments form elevations and overlays with calm, pulsating tension.
Only materials of the highest quality are used: acrylic paints from Amsterdam Expert, texture pastes from Liquitex – all locally produced in Austria.
Frame: Wide display frame made of solid natural wood (included in the price).
(Black decorative frame not included)
Images: The pictures were taken under professional studio lighting. Light is essential for the color play of the works. The artist recommends placing it under direct or indirect light to fully realize the color play and make the works feel alive.
