What is born on the street, in the urban public context, is transferred inside buildings, houses or museums, completely changing atmosphere and meaning. In this case, the most interesting wall corner is selected and cut out—the one where the street artist had carried out the intervention on the exterior. The fragment is then detached from its original street context and transformed into an autonomous object. Once cut out, this piece of wall can be transported and placed inside: in homes, in buildings, in museums or in other structures. In this way the work changes environment and function, moving from the public and everyday space of the street to a private or institutional space, where it is preserved and exhibited as a true artistic object. All of this represents a kind of imagined reconstruction by the artist, reflecting on the process of moving the work from the urban context to the domestic or museum one.

The natural imperfections, marks and dents of the materials are not defects, but an integral part of the work: they testify to its urban life and reinforce its identity typical of true Street Art.

The work is delivered ready to be hung. At the customer’s request, it is possible to proceed later with framing.
