. What is born on the street, in the urban and public context, is transferred inside buildings, houses or museums, completely changing the environment and meaning. In this case, the most interesting wall fragment is selected and cut out, the one on which the street artist had carried out the exterior intervention. The fragment is then detached from its original street context and transformed into an autonomous object. Once cut, this piece of wall can be moved and placed indoors: in homes, in buildings, in museums or in other structures. In this way the work changes environment and function, moving from the public and daily space of the street to a private or institutional space, where it is preserved and exhibited as a true artistic object. All this represents a sort of imagined reconstruction by the artist, reflecting on the process of moving the work from the urban context to the domestic or museum setting.

The natural imperfections, marks and dents of the materials are not defects but an integral part of the work: they testify to its urban life and reinforce its typical Street Art identity.
