Late 19th-century studded safe, made of iron with a solid frame and decorated with robust raised studs.
The front bears elegant engraved motifs that enhance its historical character and build quality.
Equipped with an original period lock, the safe has been restored and is in perfect working order.
In addition to the keyed lock, it also has a bolt, an additional security feature.
Of notable interest is the presence of two copies of original keys, made at the time for security reasons, a rare and uncommon detail.
The safe also features a complex opening system, including: a secret for opening the hatch, and an internal secret for operating the lock.
The object presents in excellent condition, with patina and signs of time compatible with its age. The build quality is superior to average, both for materials and for the complexity of the locking system.
