Otto Boudewijn de Kat (Dordrecht, June 7, 1907 – Laren (North Holland), April 30, 1995) was a Dutch painter, watercolorist, art critic, and professor. De Kat's field of work encompassed the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Germany, and Italy. Since 1960 De Kat developed his characteristic style. His heyday was roughly from 1962 to 1975. Highlights include Cityscape of Liège (1963) and The Yellow Chair (1972).
