The second work continues the search for fragmentation, organizing space in a more rigorous yet equally abstract metric. Three rectangular blocks of materic painting are arranged in a vertical sequence on a dark textured gray background. At the top, a deep green block contains the red and white checkered flag, isolating the finish line symbol in an autonomous space. In the center, a white and dense rectangle acts as a visual counterweight, a pause or light space. At the bottom, a lighter and brighter green block hosts the tiny figure of the golfer, viewed from behind, almost suggesting a more distant perspective or a moment of contemplation. The linear and geometric composition, interrupted by the physicality of the painting, creates a sense of balance and spatial tension.
