Freehand drawing on an authentic demonetized 500 Franc banknote called "Pascal" featuring the DeLorean DMC-12 from the film Back to the Future (1985)
1. About the work:
• Acrylic on demonetized banknote.
• Black matte frame 30x40 cm with glass.
• Support dimensions: 18.2x9.7 cm.
• Banknote fixed with adhesive dots.
• Engraved signature and fixed on the side of the frame.
• Certificate of authenticity included.
2. Important:
• Original photos of the artwork.
• The banknote may show minuscule stains or simply be crumpled, worn, or partially torn. In short, flaws arising from the banknote’s use give a natural and expressive style, giving each piece a unique character.
3. About the artist:
Ciscø, born in 1979 in Hauts-de-France. A devotee of visual arts and self-taught, he began painting at a young age. Today, he reworks collectible banknotes and, more specifically, the Francs, into iconic themes and pop culture.
The artist gives a unique and exclusive touch to this symbolic banknote, becoming an interconnection between the past and the present. His nostalgia for the Francs guides him toward this artistic theme he personally loves. Moreover, Cisco made a short film featuring this old currency. A YouTube video: "Nostalgia of the Francs". Today, his works travel across regions of France and cross European borders. Happy to live a growing artistic passion, Ciscø sells worldwide to private collectors and holds exhibitions in France and abroad (Australia, United States, Belgium, Morocco) to share his artistic universe.
