πJS aka Stephen Joannon (Artist, Gallerist, Exhibition Curator, Music Critic…)
A versatile visual artist and conduit of forms, presents ROBBIT: a series of vividly colored sculptures, a mischievous homage to the worlds of Barry Flanagan, Jeff Koons, and Kaws, propelled by the electronic motifs of Herbie Hancock — particularly Rockit (1983), from which its name is derived. Made in Tourrettes-sur-Loup in collaboration with an exceptional craftsman, the collection comprises four silhouettes, each hand-painted in strictly unique variations.
A poem of metal and matter, ROBBIT fuses pop boldness with playful gentleness: a sculptural presence that strikes with chromatic optimism and a melodic visual rhythm. These pieces, designed to catch the eye and complement contemporary collections, are produced in limited editions — an invitation to seize the work before it disappears.
