πJS aka Stephen Joannon (Artist, Gallerist, Exhibition curator, music critic…)
A versatile plastic artist and transmitter of forms, presents ROBBIT: a series of brightly colored sculptures, a mischievous homage to the worlds of Barry Flanagan, Jeff Koons, and Kaws, swayed by the electronic motifs of Herbie Hancock — particularly Rockit (1983), from which its name is derived. Made in Tourrettes-sur-Loup in collaboration with an exceptional craftsman, the collection comes in four silhouettes, each then hand-painted in strictly unique variations.
A poem of metal and matter, ROBBIT blends pop audacity with playful sweetness: a sculptural presence that strikes with chromatic optimism and a visual melody. These pieces, designed to cross viewers’ gazes and complement contemporary collections, are produced in limited editions — an invitation to seize the work before it disappears.
