The figurine was designed in a limited edition by Dutch sculptor Gerda Rubinstein (1931-2022) to mark the 25th anniversary in 2005 of the Stichting MS Research.

The title is: Boekworm.

Gerda was the younger sister of journalist and columnist Renate Rubinstein (1929-1990).
