THE WORK:
Esfinge 3 encuentro (2020) is a limited edition etching and soft ground engraving (1/20), manually printed in the artist’s workshop on Ivory-toned Etching Paper-Art. The work presents a surreal composition where the elements dialogue with each other: at the top, a sphinx inspired by the one at the Museum of Archaeology of Madrid emerges facing forward against a cloudy background that opens to the light. A subtle diagonal line separates this plane from the lower area, where two figures converse, evoking a casual encounter. The piece combines refined technique with symbolic charge, imparting uniqueness and collectible value.
This work comes with a certificate of authenticity with a photograph of the piece, dated and hand-signed by the artist.
The shipment is made with the artwork properly protected between boards. Not rolled.
