In the shadow of a dark background, a young woman holds a bowl of apples. An obvious reference to the masters of chiaroscuro, this work plays with the symbolism of temptation, purity, and desire. Le Yack combines here the precision of ancient gesture with a striking emotional modernity.
Le Yack, a French emerging pop and street art artist. Alexandre Pelletier, known as Le Yack, was born in 1972 in Tours. During his studies, he joined the École Supérieure d'Art et de Design (ESAD) of Orléans. He is an art director in publishing and on the web. Instagram @leyack45. He is exhibited in a network of about forty galleries in France, Germany, Belgium, and the United States.
