Description from the seller
These are two enamel-painted and gilded plates from the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty. The one on the left is a plate with a floral and bird design. This type of porcelain typically features exquisitely painted floral and bird patterns in enamel, exhibiting a luxurious and refined style, making it a valuable collectible. The craftsmanship employs enamel painting techniques combined with gilding. The decoration features vivid floral and bird patterns against a background of ruyi (auspicious) patterns and brocade designs, making it a high-value art collectible. The plate on the right is also enamel-painted, with a yellow ground decorated with auspicious symbols such as the character "寿" (longevity), bats (representing good fortune), and peach patterns. The rim decoration uses a green ground with pink painted cloud patterns and floral scrolls. This decorative style is commonly found in Qing Dynasty imperial kiln porcelain.
