Description of the work:
Immerse yourself in the suspended, contemplative atmosphere of a city café, frozen in a blue, nocturnal moment. A solitary woman, wearing a green dress and with her hair pulled back, sits at a polished wooden table that reflects the light of a large suspended ceiling lamp. Her arm is folded, her hand supports her head in a pose of deep introspection, her gaze lost beyond the frame, perhaps toward the street or an uncertain future. In front of her, a tea set and two cups suggest a silent waiting, or perhaps simply the pleasure of a long moment of solitude shared with oneself. Through the large storefront window that acts as a boundary between the intimate interior and the public exterior, the night world unfolds: the cold lights of the street, a glowing sign (perhaps a cinema) with silhouettes of passersby, and the darkness of the surrounding buildings.
The scene, inevitably reminiscent of Hopper’s urban isolation, is bathed in a cinema-like light that isolates the subject in a bubble of thoughts facing the indifference of the metropolis. It is a painting in oil that captures a moment of pure existence, suspended between inner silence and outer buzz.

The artist Le Yack’s style is a bold blend of pop art, street art, and classic and modern painting. He uses his graphics tablet to create unique visual universes, merging various digital resources and exploring a variety of artistic techniques (Photoshop software and drawing on Procreate and different royalty-free image resources and AI).

Le Yack, emerging French pop and street art artist. Alexandre Pelletier, aka Le Yack, was born in 1972 in Tours. During his studies, he joined the École Supérieure d’Art et de Design (ESAD) in Orléans. He is a creative director in publishing and on the web. Instagram @leyack45. He is exhibited in a network of about forty galleries in France, Germany, Belgium, United States.
Inspired by classical and modern painting, Le Yack brings a contemporary look to his creations by incorporating emblematic elements of pop and urban culture. His works are characterized by vivid colors, dynamic shapes, and expressive compositions.
The artist also explores different forms of artistic production. Some of his works are reproduced in series on primed canvases, creating limited editions accessible to a wider audience. Other works are created as unique paintings on canvas, adding an exclusive and authentic dimension to his collection.
Le Yack’s style reflects a fusion between traditional art and the endless possibilities offered by digital technology. His innovative approach and skilled use of digital resources allow him to create original works that captivate the eye and invite reflection.
