Description from the seller
Oil and acrylic painting on canvas. A unique work handmade. Canvas sold without a frame, carefully rolled and protected for shipping. Format: 80 x 80 cm (intended for mounting on a frame).
Description of the work:
This figurative painting depicts a woman deeply asleep on a pale blue sofa, wearing a striking bright red dress. In the foreground, a cocktail glass rests on a small varnished wooden table, catching the light. In the background, the horizon opens onto a serene seascape: a white ocean liner crosses a deep blue sea, seagulls flying overhead in a clear sky. Objectively, the composition relies on strong contrasts of primary colors, offering an aesthetics inspired by mid-century. The work freezes a moment of leisure and absolute relaxation.
The artist Le Yack's style is a bold blend of pop art, street art, and classical and modern painting. He uses his graphics tablet to create unique visual universes, merging various digital resources and exploring a variety of artistic techniques (Photoshop software and drawing on Procreate and different royalty-free image resources and AI).
Le Yack, emerging French pop and street art artist. Alexandre Pelletier, aka Le Yack, was born in 1972 in Tours.
