Description of the work:
This canvas depicts a solitary female figure, seated on the edge of a modest sailboat. The sail, a bright yellow, stands upright beneath a clouded sky tinted with gold, casting a radiant and textured reflection on the deep blue waters. Executed with bold, impressionist-inspired brushstrokes, the piece rests on a strong thermal contrast between the warm tones of the light and the coldness of the ocean. The composition, visually well balanced, invites contemplation and captures a moment of absolute tranquility, suspending the subject in the vast sea.

The artist Le Yack's style is a bold fusion of pop art, street art, and classical and contemporary painting. He uses his graphic tablet to create unique visual universes, blending various digital resources and exploring a range of artistic techniques (Photoshop software and drawing on Procreate and different royalty-free image resources and AI).

Le Yack, emerging French pop and street art artist. Alexandre Pelletier, known as Le Yack, was born in 1972 in Tours. During his studies, he attended the École Supérieure d'Art et de Design (ESAD) in Orléans. He is art director in publishing and on the web. Instagram @leyack45. He is exhibited in a network of about forty galleries in France, Germany, Belgium, the United States.
Inspired by classical and modern painting, Le Yack brings a contemporary perspective to his creations by incorporating iconic elements of pop and urban culture. His works are characterized by bright colors, dynamic shapes, and expressive compositions.
The artist also explores different forms of artistic production. Some of his works are reproduced in series on primed canvas, creating limited editions accessible to a wider audience. Other pieces are created as unique paintings on canvas, adding an exclusive and authentic dimension to his collection.
