Description from the seller
Oil and acrylic painting on canvas. A unique work handmade. Canvas sold with a wooden frame, carefully protected for shipping. Size: 60 x 60 cm (mounted on wooden frame).
Description of the work:
A striking figurative painting in low-angle view depicting a trio of confident women walking toward the viewer in a sunny American city of the 1950s. Each woman, wearing sunglasses and high-waisted clothing, embodies a distinct personality and era-specific style. The central figure wears a blue shirt and shorts, holding a wicker basket, flanked by companions dressed in textured yellow tops and fitted pants. Behind them, classic cars—a red sedan and a yellow coupe—are parked under a clear blue sky, framed by traditional storefronts. The composition evokes a collective movement and an empowered nostalgia.
The artist Le Yack's style is a bold blend of pop art, street art, and classic and modern painting. He uses his graphic tablet to create unique visual universes, merging various digital resources and exploring a variety of artistic techniques (Photoshop software and drawing on Procreate, plus various royalty-free image resources and AI).
