Oil painting by Leo Pors (Rotterdam, 1952)
Painted on panel of 40 x 30 cm. Includes a beautiful frame 52 x 42 cm. Provenance with the artist himself in Ridderkerk.
His paintings fetch fairly high prices.
Self-taught and initially in the Hague School.
In perfect condition. Signed lower left.
The works of Leo Pors have been depicted several times in, among others, the art magazines Tableau, Collect and VIND. It has been shown at many exhibitions, including in the Gorinchem Museum, brought together with works by, among others, Ans Markus and Tjalf Sparnaaij. In many European countries collectors own his works. The paintings are also represented in corporate collections, while in Hong Kong, Taiwan, the U.S. and Australia art lovers purchase his work.
