Description from the seller
An essential and powerful work, built on silence and enigma.
In this piece, Antonio Sciacca pays homage to the great era of Metaphysical painting, explicitly evoking Giorgio De Chirico's universe.
The protagonist is a golden mannequin, suspended against an absolute black background: a figure without a face yet charged with presence, a symbol of universal identity and introspection.
The dark surface amplifies the sense of isolation and concentration, while light reflects on the mannequin's clock, creating an almost sacred effect.
In the bottom right, a sphere in green and blue tones introduces a chromatic and conceptual counterpoint: an enigmatic, almost cosmic element that disrupts the balance and invites contemplation.
A refined work, ideal for collectors drawn to Metaphysical art.
