Rare specimen “Madame” lounge chair. Design by Fritz Neth, produced by Correcta Foams Company (Sitzformbau) in Kassel (Germany) in the early 1950s. Beautiful organic form, great seating comfort. 
Details in Das Möbelbuch, 1958. 

Reupholstered (ploegwool no 17, bright red) and fitted with a new foam (top) layer while preserving the old shape. 
The armchair shows some signs of use: (small) stains and the upholstery here and there a bit loose. Some wear on the legs (in keeping with the age).

Zeldzaam exemplaar “Madame” lounge chair. Ontwerp van Fritz Neth, geproduceerd door Correcta Foams Company (Sitzformbau) in Kassel (Duitsland) in het begin van de jaren 50. Prachtige organische vorm, groot zitcomfort. 
Details in Das Möbelbuch, 1958. 

Opnieuw bekleed (ploegwool no 17, helderrood) en voorzien van een nieuwe schuim(top)laag met behoud van de oude vorm. 
De fauteuil heeft enig sporen van gebruik: (kleine) vlekjes en de bekleding hier en daar een beetje los. Enige aantasting op de poten (conform de leeftijd).

Fritz Neth designed the “Madame” lounge chair, produced by Correcta Foams Company (Sitzformbau) in Kassel, Germany, dating from the early 1950s with a red wool textile over metal, in good used condition showing minor signs of age, dimensions 93 cm high, 75 cm wide and 90 cm deep with a seating height of 44 cm, and reupholstered in bright red ploegwool no 17 with a new foam top while preserving the original form.
