AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

The small spoon leans against the larger one, not just once, but for the most part as a whole. A cohesive system emerges, a closed collective. The innermost circle is still small, but it is the foundation for the circles that arise from it, growing larger and symbolically “growing.” The spoon circles give not only themselves but the entire construct stability and support; the outermost circle has the greatest reach, yet it protects the inner one. A synonym for a multi-generational family, symbolically overlaid with blue copper patina. At once a developmental and maturation process.
Acrylic, spatula compound, gold paint, copper paint, gold powder, blue copper patina, plastic forks on canvas. Plastic, because metal forks would react with the copper patina and oxidize again.
The work was most recently exhibited at art3f Strasbourg from 28 Feb to 2 Mar 2025.

About the artist
Born in 1980 and raised in Gmunden, Upper Austria. Graduate of the Advertising Academy and the Vienna University of Economics and Business. Not a classical artistic career, but the interest in art and painting was always a driving force, or a fixed financial mainstay in his early student years. After ten years in marketing (concept development, illustration, art direction) the decision was made to turn the hobby of art into the profession—the calling of a freelance artist.

Artistic activity in Gmunden, Vienna and Győr (HU)
