AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

This lot features an imposing beer tankard created in the early 18th century, dated from the identifiable hallmark stamp on its handle containing "170?" writting with initials “G F W”. Lower part of handle is adorned with a decorative plaque, presenting a stylised portrait, offering an extra dose of elegance to this pouring jug. Construction of its spout was designed in a decorative manner, when noticing the curved cuttings with sharp edges, while the circumference of its body is ornated in parallel lines. On the lid there is a engraving visible with initials "E. R. MP". A pleasant patina consistent with passing of time covers the metal surface of this Item, while its condition is very good, having no restorations or major damages visible, only some minor dents and scratches as a result of prolongued use.
