Description from the seller

"Over the Top" – Limited Edition (100 copies) - New 2026 collection
Edition number: 05/100
Artist: SKE
Publisher: Atelier Montmartre Paris
Art paper 300 g – ISO A3 size – Signed, numbered – Certificate included

In Over the Top, SKE distorts Donald, the perfect embodiment of clumsiness and excess. Intending to uncork a bottle of Dom Pérignon, the celebration backfires: the cork comes right back at him… straight into the eye.

Everything is there: luxury, a moment of glory, and the immediate fall. Champagne symbolizes success, but the inexpert elation turns the party into a visual gag. The more prestigious, the funnier the fall.

With humor and irony, SKE plays on the idea that luxury does not make one more elegant, just more exposed. Even the very high end doesn’t prevent mistakes, especially when you go too far.

Pop art vibe, street energy, projections and splashes emphasize this feeling of uncontrolled excess.

A light and ironic work, where luxury explodes… and falls back just as quickly.

Characteristics:

• Limited edition of 100 copies
• Print on premium 300 g art paper
• ISO A3 size, easy to frame
• Each copy signed and numbered by SKE
• Delivered with certificate of authenticity
• Secure shipping, reinforced packaging

“Over the Top” is a vibrant and joyful piece, conceived for collectors who love pop art, reimagined comics, and works that tell a story.

A rare edition that will undoubtedly become a flagship element of your collection.

- ARTIST BIO:
SKE is a self-taught French artist and all‑rounder who grew up in the 80s/90s culture, inspiring a large portion of his artistic works.

He constantly explores new techniques: acrylic painting, collage, stencil, graffiti, urban installations and digital art. His dynamic, expressive compositions, often with a double meaning, blend the raw energy of street art with the visual impact of pop art.

After an exceptional year in 2025, SKE’s value has risen notably. Winner of the first prize in the Urban Master contest (2023), then named Revelation of the Year at the Color Jam Challenge (2025).
SKE was selected as "Artist of the Month" by the Opulence gallery in October, and he also benefited from a feature in an American art magazine, confirming his international recognition.

His works have already been exhibited in major venues across Europe, the United States and Asia, consolidating his place on the contemporary art scene. In parallel, SKE also asserts himself in the digital art market, a major trend of the last two years, strengthening the appeal of his creations to collectors.

Icons of popular culture, bold graphics and texture plays characterize a style now indispensable.

SKE is undoubtedly an artist to follow, to start or enrich a collection with rising value.

Awarded & Spotlit Artist – Pop Art & Contemporary Street Art

A UNIVERSE BETWEEN HERITAGE AND MODERNITY SKE’s work sits in a prestigious lineage. His line recalls the visual efficiency of Keith Haring and Andy Warhol, while incorporating Banksy’s subversion or the pioneer Blek le Rat. His works bridge the ages: they revisit the classics, not hesitating to distort the Mona Lisa by Leonardo da Vinci, Vermeer’s Girl with a Pearl Earring, Hokusai’s The Great Wave, or Picasso’s deconstructed forms to clash with a modern urban aesthetic akin to Mr Brainwash or Kaws.

POP CULTURE & NOSTALGIA Drawing from the collective imagination, SKE manipulates icons of our childhood. He stages the Disney universe with figures like Mickey or Pinocchio, and the symbolic avarice of Scrooge. The influence of gaming, comics and graphic novels is omnipresent: from Nintendo’s world and the mythical Game Boy, to Pokemon creatures (Pikachu, Charizard, Ash), and the Marvel Super Heroes. SKE crystallizes these memories in the manner of Daniel Arsham or Takashi Murakami.

LUXE, HYPE & CONSUMER SOCIETY In a style sometimes reminiscent of Alec Monopoly, the artist plays with codes of success and materialism. The Dollar symbol sits next to luxury and fashion logos. His canvases capture the “Hype” aesthetic: you encounter sneaker culture (Nike Air Jordan, Adidas, Off-White) and high fashion (Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Louboutin). He also incorporates automotive adrenaline (Ferrari, Porsche, Bugatti, AMG) and precision watchmaking (Rolex, TAG Heuer), not forgetting mass consumer icons like Coca-Cola. It is vibrant art, with textured finishes that sometimes evoke the glossy surface of Jeff Koons or the facets of Richard Orlinski.

This work is ideal for enriching a collection or adding a dynamic touch to your interior.
