Description from the seller
C for Mondrian — The Artphabet
Edition 1/10 — 60 x 60 cm
This artwork is part of The Artphabet, an artistic project developed by digital artist Cess, in which every letter of the alphabet pays tribute to key figures in art history.
In this piece, the letter C is built as a tribute to Piet Mondrian, reinterpreting his iconic visual language based on geometric abstraction. The shape of the letter is composed through a three-dimensional structure of orthogonal volumes, where blocks of primary color — red, blue and yellow — combine with black lines and white surfaces, directly evoking the principles of neoplasticism.
The work translates Mondrian's two-dimensional universe into a three-dimensional space, turning his painterly language into a contemporary typographic sculpture. The balance between form, color and composition creates a visually harmonious, clean, and highly recognizable piece.
It was created through a completely digital 3D process (CGI), handcrafted with particular attention to proportions, materials, and the interaction between planes, achieving a precise and refined aesthetic.
The Artphabet has had notable international impact, having been disseminated in numerous design, art and visual culture media, establishing itself as one of the most prominent artistic typography projects in the recent digital realm.
Cess is an artist specialized in digital art, CGI and artificial intelligence, with an established track record in the creative sector, having collaborated with international brands such as Apple, Google, Prada, Vogue and MTV, among others.
The work is presented in high-quality Giclée print on poly/cotton canvas, guaranteeing an excellent reproduction of the detail, color and texture of the original digital work.
