Set of nine decorative stained-glass window hangers with geometric compositions in blue, red, yellow and white glass, dating from 1960–1970 and made in the Netherlands, each measuring 26 × 36 cm with a depth of 3 cm, created with traditional lead came and soldered joints and showing signs of use with minor age-related wear and some corner damage or re-soldered lead, with some panels including a metal hanging chain.
Description from the seller
Set of nine decorative stained glass window hangers with geometric compositions in blue, red, yellow and white glass. The abstract division of planes evokes the language of the De Stijl movement, known from artists and designers such as Piet Mondriaan, Theo van Doesburg and architect Gerrit Rietveld.
Although it is not a work directly attributed to anyone, the composition clearly aligns with this modernist current from the early 20th century.
The panels are made with traditional lead came profiles and soldered joints.
The window hangers create a beautiful play of light when hung in front of a window or in a conservatory.
Some panels are fitted with a metal hanging chain.
The set consists of 9 individual stained glass panels with varying geometric patterns.
Condition:

There are some visible signs of wear and damage, including:
- Several corner breaks in the glass
- Bent or re-soldered corners of the lead
- Residues of older repairs/putty
