MTV Donut is a contemporary sculptural reinterpretation of the iconic MTV logo, transformed into a vibrant, provocative, and highly recognizable three-dimensional piece.
The work presents the logo as a physical volume coated with a bright pink icing with sprinkles, evoking a sweet, pop aesthetic that directly connects with the visual imagination of contemporary culture. This mix between the appetizing and the graphic creates a powerful contrast that captures attention immediately.
The material treatment —soft, glossy and almost edible— reinforces the playful and irreverent character that has defined MTV throughout its history, reinterpreting it from a current perspective within the language of 3D.
The piece has been developed in the context of a real collaboration with MTV, and is presented for the first time in physical format.
