Platform 4 - Hand signed, a 40 x 40 cm giclée on canvas mounted on a wooden frame from France; edition limited to 20 numbered copies; signed by hand and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity; created in 2020 or later.
Description from the seller
In the vast wooden-halled hall of a seafaring station, two travelers share the same bench while remaining hermetic to each other. The woman turns her gaze toward the dark, churning ocean framed by wide semicircular windows, while the man, a silhouette anchored in his trench coat, stays frozen in his thoughts. Geometric beams of light traverse the room, intensifying the psychological distance between the characters. This work freezes the scene in cinematic silence, exploring the mystery of immobile departures and the boundary between the protective interior and the raw vastness of the sea.
Le Yack, emerging pop and street art artist. Alexandre Pelletier, known as Le Yack, was born in 1972 in Tours. During his studies, he joined the École Supérieure d'Art et de Design (ESAD) in Orléans.
