Exhibition catalogue for the Tadao Ando Exhibition - Challenges, which introduces the rare architect Tadao Ando's half-century of challenges and his vision for the future. The exhibition is organised according to the six sections and themes of the exhibition venue, and introduces more than 70 of ANDO's representative works.

It comes with a sketch signed by the author.
Tickets for admission to the exhibition will also be enclosed.
《 Tadao Ando Profile 》
Architect, born in Osaka in 1941. After traveling the world, he taught himself architecture and established Tadao Ando Architectural Institute in 1969. He has been a visiting professor at Yale University, Columbia University, and Harvard University, and became a professor at the University of Tokyo in 1997 and a professor emeritus in 2003. His numerous works include “Sumiyoshi Row Houses,” “Japanese Government Pavilion at Expo '70 Seville,” “Church of Light,” “Osaka Prefectural Chikatsu Asuka Museum,” “Awaji Yumebutai,” “Hyogo Prefectural Museum of Art,” “Contemporary Art Museum Fort Worth,” etc. He received the Architectural Institute of Japan Award in 1979 for “Sumiyoshi Row Houses,” the American Institute of Architects (AIA) Gold Medal in 2002, and many other awards. He was awarded the Order of Cultural Merit in 2010. His publications include “Talking about Architecture” and “Rengen Rengo” (both from the University of Tokyo Press), “Tadao Ando, Architect” and “Le Corbusier's Courageous Residence” (both from Shinchosha).
