I am Ed Mittendorf, an artist 84 years old, working under the name Mivillage, and I lived, worked, and exhibited for 18 years in France. I now live and work permanently in the Netherlands.
My works were then designed in the NUL style from the 1960s. Where the artists Armando, Jan Henderikse, Henk Peters and Jan Schoonhoven became known. Internationally the style ZERO.
These new series of small reliefs are made from cardboard and painted with a self-developed coarse-texture paint, and the compositions are handmade, with the regular representations arising in a way that is precisely "not exact", which characterizes the uniqueness of the works.
