AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Omega wristwatch in steel, automatic Bumper model, for watch enthusiasts—the name alone conveys the so-called hammer movement, as it was innovative for its time. We are in the immediate post‑war period following World War II; in fact this watch should be from 1948/1950, and unlike a normal automatic, where the rotor spins around the watch, here it bounces on two side springs that then wind the watch, a genuine innovation for the era. Size 34 mm excluding crown, generic strap as is the crown. Watch functioning, everything stamped on both the inside of the case and on the movement with its serial number. The watch has small seconds at 6 o’clock, a two-tone dial aged as it should be, and the rarity of having a complete Arabic numeration. Military-style watch. Movement in excellent condition, but a conservative service by skilled vintage hands is always advised. With this watch, you are not purchasing a simple timekeeper, but a piece of Swiss watchmaking history!Tracked and insured shipment with DHL Express; for non-European countries, customs duties will be applied depending on the importing country.
