Description from the seller
Premium - Celestine Geode
An indispensable piece for your interior decoration
Celestine comes from the Latin term “coelestis” meaning “heavenly.” More commonly it is translated as “sky blue.” It was in 1789, shortly after its discovery, that the German mineralogist Abraham Gottlob Werner named this crystal thus, whose reflections resemble a sky bathed in light.
Its color, of great softness, earns it the title “Stone of the Angels.” According to legend, it was born from the pure and hypnotic song of angels. It is also associated with the constellation Pleiades, considered the spiritual cradle of humanity.
Many synonyms are attached to it, including celestite, cliftonite, dioxynite, sicilianite, or strontian sulfate.
