The nature of the technique I use makes every piece in the series a unique and unrepeatable work. The final piece may vary slightly in size and texture compared to the photos and the text.
The work consists of a pyramidal prism, interrupted for three quarters by a hollow portion. I consider this piece a vindication of the Self over the trials of existence, but also an innate longing upward. Toward a metamorphosis of form into pure energy. Matter that becomes spirit. The hollow portion that interrupts the ascent of the form toward the peak is characterized as an assembly of parts that, unused, remain imprinted as empty traces of past experiences.
