Santicri has participated in numerous art exhibitions of international repute. Among the most significant, in 2022 he exhibited his works at the prestigious Palazzo Grillo in Genoa, and in 2023 he was present at the International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF) in New York, thereby expanding his visibility in both national and international contexts.
Santicri was recognized among the Best-Selling Artists of 2024 by Artmayeur, one of the most renowned platforms in the art world. In the same year, he was also listed among the top three most searched names on the platform Catawiki, a further sign of the growing appreciation for his work. A simple and recognizable figure is transformed into something different. The teddy bear, symbol of affection and protection, maintains its shape but loses its function: it is no longer something to touch or to live with lightly.

The surface completely changes the perception of the work. What from afar seems familiar, up close becomes more distant, almost inaccessible. Thus a direct contrast is created between what we know and what we see.

The work plays precisely with this tension: on the one hand it attracts, on the other it keeps at a distance. In this way, a childhood image is reinterpreted in a contemporary key, becoming something more complex and less reassuring.

Born in 1992 in Macerata, Marche, the Italian artist pursued a path that, between studies in Surveying and Architecture, led him to collaborate with a resin sculpture artisan. There he felt an ever stronger need to find himself and unleash his creativity.

His works are sold worldwide, collaborating with galleries in Italy and Europe.
