The first image represents the passage of the work from the external wall to the interior space of buildings. What is born on the street, in the urban and public context, is transferred inside to palaces, houses or museums, completely changing the environment and meaning. In this case, the most interesting street-facing corner where the street artist had carried out the intervention on the exterior is selected and cut out. The fragment is then detached from the original street context and transformed into an autonomous object. Once cut, this piece of wall can be transferred and placed inside: in homes, in buildings, in museums or in other structures. In this way the artwork changes environment and function, moving from the public and everyday space of the street to a private or institutional space, where it is preserved and exhibited as a true artistic object. All of this represents a kind of imagined reconstruction by the artist, reflecting on the process of moving the artwork from the urban context to the domestic or museum setting.

The natural imperfections, marks and dents of the materials are not defects, but an integral part of the work: they attest to its urban life and reinforce the characteristic identity of true Street Art.
