Composizione 1, an oil painting by Ferruccio Torraca (born 1907) from Italy, dated 1956, a modern still life (Natura morta), measuring 113 x 93 cm, hand-signed, in good condition, original edition, sold with a frame.
Description from the seller
Provenance: private collection.
Framed dimensions: 99 x 78 cm
The work, of excellent artistic and chromatic rendering, is in good preservation, with signs of aging visible in the photos. The painted film is nevertheless well adhered to the original support.
Under Wood's lamp analysis, the artist's signature appears autographic and contemporaneous with the creation of the painting.
The work carries on the back labels from the prestigious Michetti Prize, as visible in the photos.
The frame shown in the photos above has been added to the artwork by the seller or a third party. The frame is provided at no additional cost so that it is ready to display as soon as it arrives. The frame is included as a courtesy and is not considered an integral part of the artwork. Therefore, any potential damage to the frame that does not affect the artwork itself will not be accepted as valid grounds to open a claim or request order cancellation.
We guarantee careful packing and trackable shipping.
In-person pickup is available exclusively for buyers in the surrounding areas. Pickup by buyers' own couriers is not accepted.
The work is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
