Divine Contrast V.1 depicts a winged cherub with a halo, tattoos, sneakers, gold chains and a smartphone in hand, intent on taking a selfie in front of a wall covered in graffiti.
The background is an explosion of street art elements, pop symbols, arrows, tags and splashes of color.

The work fuses digital painting and graphic intervention in a contemporary street-pop style, playing with textures and visual contrasts:

The purity of the wings and the angelic figure clashes with the irreverence of the tattoos and pose.

“Divine Contrast” is a reflection on identity in the modern era, where even innocence can be contaminated by contemporary aesthetic codes.
The angel becomes a mirror of our society, obsessed with appearance, likes and self-celebration, yet still fascinated by eternal symbols such as spirituality, beauty, and redemption.
