Description from the seller
Directly from the gallery "D uli - Arts"\n\nThis artwork is from the series "Hommage a´ Yves Klein"\n\nYves Klein was, together with Andy Warhol and Jeff Koons, one of the co-founders of Pop Art.\n\nHis unforgettable "Blue Quadrat" with the most beautiful and intense blue I have ever seen.\n\nAll objects were handmade by me in elaborate manual work.\nThe traces of the handmade process are visible on the elephant, making it unmistakable and unique.\n\nHand-signed\n\nThe elephant is approx. 20/15/10 cm in ultramarine blue, matte, mounted on a plate.\n\nMy artworks are presented at art fairs in Köln, Dresden, Frankfurt, Paris, Luxembourg, Hamburg, Munich, Monaco...\n\nMy Pop Art connects art and everyday life. An essential feature of Pop Art is the often trivial objects from daily life, from popular culture, media and advertising that are well known. The used motifs are torn from their original context, changed by me, and thereby given a new life as "art objects".
