Vincenzo Raimondo presents an original diptych titled Mori, an acrylic multicolour painting on two panels (each 70 cm high by 50 cm wide) in an expressionist style depicting a portrait, signed by hand, produced in 2026 in Italy and sold directly by the artist in good condition.
Description from the seller
This diptych reinterprets traditional Sicilian Moros through a contemporary, essential, and decisive language. The figures, stripped of facial traits, become universal symbols: no longer precise identities, but timeless icons.
The contrast between the textured, neutral background and the vivid colors of the headdresses creates a strong visual balance, where tradition meets a modern, almost pop sensibility. The bold lines and simplified shapes reinforce the graphic impact, making the work immediate but not banal.
From this emerges a silent dialogue between past and present, between cultural roots and personal reinterpretation. A diptych that does not tell a story… it lets you sense it, and that is precisely where it works.

Vincenzo Raimondo – Contemporary Artist
“Art as observation and synthesis of the everyday.”
Vincenzo Raimondo is an Italian artist based in Palermo. His research develops between material abstraction and figuration, in a path free from fixed schemes.
His work arises from observing daily reality, transformed into essential and direct images, where color and form become immediate expressive tools.
Recognitions and career
In 2015 and 2016 he was a finalist in the Sunday Painters competition promoted by La Stampa, within the Artissima context (Turin), among thousands of participants.
In 2016 he received the Critics’ Prize, an award that marked an important moment in defining his artistic language.
Series and language
His production spans several series, including Fly, in which he explores the theme of lightness and freedom through minimalist and poetic compositions.
Alongside this, he develops works that reinterpret elements of Sicilian culture in a contemporary key, together with more abstract and material works.
Each work is a unique piece, created through a process that combines instinct and experimentation, not seeking perfection but with attention to the expressive force of the sign.
