Antique Excelsior Swiss Pocket Watch – Guilloché Enamel Cartouche Dial
Overview
A beautiful and rare Swiss-made open-face pocket watch by Excelsior. This timepiece stands out due to its exceptionally vibrant and decorative dial, featuring green translucent enamel over a sunburst engine-turned pattern (guilloché).

Origin: Switzerland ("Swiss Made" signed at 6 o'clock)
Era: Circa 1900–1920
Dial: White enamel base with 12 individual green guilloché enamel cartouches. Each cartouche features a gold-tone Arabic numeral. The dial is further decorated with a gold-dot outer minute track and delicate blued-steel "Poire" style hands.
Movement: Manual wind mechanical movement. A classic Swiss finger-bridge caliber, gold-gilt finish, with an engraved balance bridge.
