Description from the seller

Old metal Quinquet lamp, invented between 1782 and 1784 by the Swiss physicist Aymé Argand and popularized in France by the pharmacist Antoine Arnould Quinquet, hence its name.

Additionally it also has its oil reservoir (see last photo) but for better usability it has been electrified. Moreover it is height-adjustable for more or less luminosity.

This one works perfectly and can be a beautiful auxiliary lamp, for example on a desk or even hung high like a ceiling lamp.

Shipping only within Europe, no shipping outside Europe.
