Rare and distinctive vintage sewing box with an ingenious sliding mechanism, entirely made of solid wood. This piece clearly stands apart from later variants due to its sturdy construction and artisanal finish.
The quality is visible in the details: fine wood joints, use of small nails, and a thoughtful mechanical system that opens and closes smoothly. These are hallmarks of authentic craftsmanship from the 1950s/1960s.
