Original oil on canvas by Le Yack, titled Skyline - Handmade! - unique work, 100 × 80 cm, signed by hand, France, 2026.
Description from the seller
Oil painting on canvas. Unique work handmade.
Canvas sold with frame, carefully protected for shipping.
Format: 100 x 80 cm
Description of the work:
This luminous and contemplative figurative painting captures a suspended moment facing the urban vastness. In the foreground, a woman in profile, wearing a sleeveless black top, rests her arm on a glass railing. Her gaze wanders toward a spectacular urban horizon: a dense and infinite 'skyline' (type New York), where emblematic skyscrapers rise under a clear sky dotted with soft clouds. The blue ocean stretches between the city and the opposite shore. Objectively, the composition manages to create an introspective atmosphere through the contrast between the static human figure and the sprawling energy of the city. However, a more nuanced treatment of the reflections of the city in the glass railing or the textures of the clouds would have brought more overall depth and enriched the visual narration. The work freezes a moment of contemplative solitude before the urban immensité.
