Open Circuit (2026) by Devon (1993) is an Original Naive Art painting in acrylic, gouache and pastel, hand signed, 50 cm by 40 cm, origin United Kingdom, sold by Gallery in Excellent condition.
Description from the seller
Open Circuit (2026) presents a dynamic, layered composition in which colour, line, and gesture operate simultaneously across the surface. The painting is structured through a network of abstract forms that resemble signals in motion, overlapping and interacting without a fixed hierarchy.
Executed in acrylic, gouache, and mixed media, the work combines flat, graphic elements with more gestural applications. The palette is vivid and varied, with saturated reds, deep greens, blues, and soft neutrals creating a sense of visual intensity and movement.
The composition resists a single focal point, instead encouraging the eye to circulate across the canvas, tracing connections between forms. This creates a sense of continuous activity, as if the painting remains in a state of transmission.
Devon’s practice explores abstraction as a form of internal language. In Open Circuit, this language expands outward, becoming more open, layered, and fluid, while still retaining a sense of personal encoding.
